From what I learned at the Enlightened Wealth Institute, let me start right off the bat by saying this. If you want to make a substantial living working Ebay, you’re going to have to put an enormous amount of time and effort into it. Ebay is not something where you can push a button and you make sales like mad.

I say that only because so many people get into a ‘get rich’ scheme and think that money will pour into their bank account in less than a month…so let’s be clear, you can make great money using the internet and some of the biggest online marketplaces such as ebay or craigslist…it is just that I don’t want you to ‘give up’ after you first few weeks. I have made tens of thousands of dollars using ebay and craigslist, patience paid off when it took at least six months of education (such as How To Advertise on Craigslist) and applying / tweaking that knowledge until things started to click!

In this series, I’m going to provide you with some tips on the best ways to get your Ebay career off the ground.

The easiest way to make money on Ebay is simply to find things around your home that you no longer have use for and sell them.

This saves you the trouble of having to go through wholesalers or going to garage sales to pick up things. The key to doing this, however, is to go to Ebay and look up what the hottest selling items are. If you find that you own some of the things that people are looking for, you’ll have a very good chance of unloading them.

Think about what YOU would spend money on. That’s the key.

Once you’ve found some items to sell, go to Ebay, register and then place your auction. Make your ads colorful. Make sure they stand out. In an earlier installment in this series I taught you about ad writing. Use those tips to write your Ebay ads. A good ad will make the difference between a sale and no sale.
